EPMG and PhysAssist Scribes Partner to Bring Medical Scribes to Mercy Hospital in Cadillac, MI

Partnering with PhysAsssist Scribes, beginning in July 2012, EPMG has begun to provide medical scribes at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac, MI.

PhysAssist Scribes announced an expansion of a client contract first established in 2009. Emergency Physicians Medical Group (EPMG) will be introducing medical scribes at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac, Michigan. PhysAssist will provide scribes to assist physicians in the emergency department, beginning in July of this year.

PhysAssist will provide five highly-trained I AM SCRIBE UNIVERSITY graduates to assist EPMG physicians with real-time documentation on the medical record, focusing on the accuracy and thoroughness of each chart. PhysAssist is committed to improving the efficiency of the emergency department by allowing physicians to focus on taking care of each patient while scribes focus on the medical record and shift flow management.
