Publication Update:  Mind the (knowledge) Gap

Congratulations to Stefanie Simmons, MD (St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor), Hope Fowkes, MD (St. Mary Mercy Hospital, Livonia), Patricia Paz-Arabo, MD (St. Mary Mercy Hospital, Livonia), and Tom Carter, DO (Southern Ohio Medical Center, Portsmouth) on their recent publication Mind the (knowledge) gap:  The effects of a communication instrument on emergency department patients’ comprehension of and satisfaction with care in Patient Education and Counseling!  This is the result of an EPMG wide study that they worked heavily on a few years ago.  Click here to view the publication.  Congratulations to all involved!
