Saint Joseph Mercy Health System (SJMHS) has earned a reputation as a top healthcare system—and not just from the hundreds of thousands of patients served. The pediatric emergency department has a staff of fifteen physicians who treat approximately 18,000 patients annually seeing patients from 9 am to 1:30 am daily. Backup specialists provided in-house by St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. The pediatric emergency center offers 25 hours of physician coverage daily on weekdays and increases to 33 hours of daily coverage on Saturdays and Sundays. Clinicians utilize the EMR FirstNet®.
