The Urgent Care of Wheelersburg, is an extension of the Southern Ohio Medical Center The center is a 6-bed freestanding facility seeing approximately 22,000 visits while providing care for minor illnesses and injuries in a quick and easy manner that do not require a trip to the emergency department. There is excellent ancillary services and strong medical support staff including laboratory and radiology on-site. Specialty backup is provided by SOMC main campus in Portsmouth.

The urgent care center is a freestanding facility with laboratory and radiology capabilities. This facility treats approximately 22,000 patients annually and full backup is provided from the main campus. This facility offers excellent ancillary services and strong medical support staff. The Urgent Care is open from 8 am – 8 pm daily. Clinicians utilize the EMR Smart Chart™ at this facility.
