Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital is a 344-bed facility serving the western Wayne County and Downriver communities of Michigan. It offers a full range of clinical services, including general medicine, surgery, obstetrics, pediatrics, cardiac care, physical medicine and rehabilitation, ambulatory surgery, inpatient and outpatient behavioral services, hospice care, and 24-hour emergency care. The hospital offers one of the top electronic medical record charting systems in the county and received the coveted Press Ganey Associates Guardian of Excellence Award for Emergency Services, Patient Satisfaction and Ambulatory Surgery. This hospital is a certified stroke center, cardiac intervention center, and is a ACS verified Level III Trauma Center.

The emergency department is a 65,000 annual visit facility with an AOA accredited Osteopathic Emergency Residency program. The ED has 56 hours of physician coverage daily, with eight hour shifts. There is an additional 16 hours of nurse practitioner or physician assistant coverage daily. Clinicians utilize the EMR ibex®.


Wyandotte, Michigan is located on the Detroit River 40 miles east of Ann Arbor and south of Detroit.
