Hayes Green Beach Memorial Hospital opened its doors over 70 years ago and continues to grow and enrich the lives of Charlotte area residents. The facility is the recipient of a regional community service award for its commitment to community growth and education. The latest community initiative is the A!IVE program, infusing over 18 million dollars in health and wellness resources throughout the Charlotte and greater Lansing area.

The emergency department sees over 13,000 patients per year and is a designated Level III facility. The department includes ten private examining rooms, some set up for specialized treatments. There are 24 hours of physician coverage daily. Charlotte Area Emergency Medical Services also operates its ambulance service from Hayes Green Beach Memorial ED.

Charlotte, MI is in the heart of Eaton County, conveniently located less than one half hour away from Lansing, Battle Creek, and Michigan State University.
